 In 1987 Tony Butala bought a vacant hillside horseproperty in Napa Valley.  Over many years with great passion, he invested time, effort, energy, money, heart and soul, developing this land into a beautiful vineyard. With hard work, and a lot of sweat equity, he turned the land into one of the most valuable high-end vineyards and wineries in the world famous Napa Valley, CA.

Butala Vineyards has established itself in the wine community, with a great reputation for growing world class grapes that have made successful wines.  It is a relatively small vineyard and winery of forty acres, always striving throughout the years, to produce unique and high-end quality wines.  The winery has the advantage of acquiring grapes from its Butala Vineyards, one of the premier vineyards in Napa Valley, growing Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot grapes from clones and rootstock originating in the Bordeaux region of France.

Tony would like to take his project to the next level.  At this point in his life, however, he chooses to share his precious project with a carefully chosen partner or partners.

He is now pursuing his first choice option of locating an equity partner to purchase an equal half of the vineyard, winery business and property.  The selected partner will enjoy and prosper with him in this exciting and most rewarding opportunity.

He is interested in partnering with an individual who wants to share a pleasurable experience, enjoying like-minded people venturing into the exciting world of wine, its mystique, its magic and its social charm, or someone who just wants to experience the simple, good, clean, gentlemanly farming way of life.
